Tour to the city of Plzen, a birthplace of the famous Czech beer and the most important industrial, economic and administrative centre in West Bohemia. Beer has been produced in this city from the end of the XVIII century and in 1842 was founded in Plzen the famous Plzen brewery. In this city was also founded in 1899 the well known Czech company Škoda, that had started in 1859 as a smelting plant, to become nowadays in a consortium producing heavy machinery, trams and others. We will visit the St. Bartolomeo Cathedral, the beer museum, considered as the oldest in the world, and also the Plzen synagogue (the third biggest synagogue in the world). You will also have some leisure time to see the city centre or to make a break for a beer at the pub of the famous brewery.
