This tour will take us to the Mělnik castle, about 55 km to the north of Prague, a castle belonging to one of the oldest Bohemian noble families, the Lobkowicz family. Once there, we will visit the interiors of the castle, having the possibility to admire numerous significative painting and carving works, interesting antique furnitures, and be witnesses of the long history of this family.
After the tour, we will go to the cellars of the castle for a wine tasting, to taste some of the different wines they produce, acomppanied by some snack, and the option of buying some of these wines, to take them with you.
From the castle restaurant, there is a nice view of the confluence of the Elba and Vltava rivers and you will also have the opportunity to have a walk by the Mělnik village, where we recommend the visit to St. Peters and St. Paul Church.
